The Store Operations Supervisor is in charge of upholding a tidy and efficiently arranged store that prioritizes customer satisfaction. Duties consist of aiding customers, managing the cash register, restocking and rearranging products, tidying up the store, and completing other duties designated by the Store Manager. Furthermore, this position takes on leadership responsibilities when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager are unavailable, playing a role in enhancing store revenue and customer contentment while safeguarding company resources.

Responsibilities and Critical Job Requirements:

• Offer exceptional customer care by welcoming and aiding patrons.
• Manage the cash register and scanner to list and calculate purchases, receive payments, provide change, and package goods.
• Adhere to the established protocols of the company for receiving, unpacking, and organizing incoming merchandise. Also, ensure to rotate items on the shelves and design attractive displays for the merchandise.
• Maintain the store's cleanliness by emptying trash cans, dusting surfaces, mopping floors, and ensuring the restrooms and stockrooms are tidy.
• Aid in the execution and upkeep of planograms.
• Follow the directives of the Store Manager in both opening and closing the store.
• Carry out extra responsibilities usually handled by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager when they are not available.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficient abilities in relating and speaking effectively with others.
• Comprehension of safety regulations and protocols.
• Proficiency in interpreting and adhering to planograms and guidelines for product presentation.
• Proficiency in mathematical operations such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and working with percentages.
• Mastery of operating cash registers efficiently.
• Understanding of protocols for managing cash, facilities, and safety measures.
• Understanding how to manage cash transactions effectively, such as ensuring cashiers are responsible and monitoring deposits securely.
• Capability to operate a vehicle for the purpose of carrying out necessary bank deposits.

Work Experience and Education:

• It is advantageous to have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• It is preferable to have six months of experience in a supervisory role or relevant training.

Working Conditions:

• Regularly walking, standing, bending, stooping, and kneeling are common activities.
• Regular use of items like scanners, price markers, and cutting tools for managing goods and equipment.
• Regularly lifting weights up to 40 pounds; sometimes lifting weights up to 55 pounds.
• Periodic ascents on step stools reaching a height of six feet.
• Maintain a controlled level of noise in a swiftly moving setting.
• Infrequent contact with outdoor elements.
• Driving for the purpose of transporting bank deposits, attending meetings, or traveling to additional locations as necessary.
