Job Overview
Dollar General is looking for Professional Truck Driver to take on regional and dedicated routes, responsible for conveying goods from distribution centers to stores. Successful candidates will prioritize the timely and safe delivery of products, in accordance with all federal and state transportation protocols.
Compensation & Benefits
- Earn a maximum of $90,000 yearly (Compensation varies according to the specific route, bonuses, experience, and where you are based).

Duties & Responsibilities
- Transport store-bound merchandise with safety and efficiency in mind.
- Remove and replace freight at each destination on the route.
- Comply with regulations established by the DOT and follow safety policies put in place by Dollar General.
- Ensure that goods are delivered on schedule to retail locations and distribution points.
- Ensure to inspect vehicles before and after trips as part of routine procedures.
- Ensure excellent customer service for store teams and vendors.
Qualifications
- Carrying a proper Class A CDL.
- Applicants must possess a minimum of one year of experience driving tractor-trailers.
- Being 21 years old is a prerequisite for participation.
- Comprehension of DOT regulations and federal mandates regarding motor carrier safety is important.
- Competent in the ability to handle and lift freight with a weight limit of 50 lbs.
