Job Overview

Dollar General is hiring CDL A Truck Drivers for regional and dedicated routes. Drivers will transport freight between Dollar General distribution centers and stores, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while complying with all federal and state transportation regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Transport store-delivery freight safely and efficiently.
• Unload and reload freight at each delivery stop.
• Follow DOT regulations and Dollar General safety policies.
• Ensure on-time deliveries to stores and distribution centers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on assigned vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service to store teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum 1 year of tractor/trailer driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and federal motor carrier safety standards.
• Ability to unload and handle freight weighing up to 50 lbs.
