Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely while maintaining efficiency.
• Ship products from distribution points to retail sites using transportation services.
• Perform inspections to check the vehicle's condition both before and after traveling.
• Ensure that all activities are in line with DOT regulatory requirements.
• Keep accurate track of driving hours and vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Transport and distribute shipments in accordance with the assigned route.
• Abide by assigned paths and timeframes for completing deliveries.
• Regularly check in with dispatch for the latest information on routes and deliveries.
• Show professionalism in your interactions with store associates and shoppers.
• Ensure timely communication of any vehicle malfunctions or safety concerns to the maintenance team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• The possession of a legitimate CDL for commercial driving in Class A category.
• The general rule is that the minimum age requirement is 21 years.
• Minimal driving violations on the record, indicating a safe driver.
• Adhering to the DOT's regulations on physical and medical fitness.
• Successful applicants will have a strong preference for regional or OTR (Over-the-Road) driving experience.
• Strong capabilities in time organization and effective management skills.
• Skill in lifting, transporting, and repositioning cargo when the need arises.

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Frequently engaging in prolonged driving sessions.
• Requires handling and offloading merchandise at multiple store locations.
• Work hours may encompass weekends and public holidays.
• Home time flexibility for regional routes contingent upon geographic factors and scheduling constraints.
