The primary responsibility of the Fitness Center Opener is to maintain a high standard of customer service and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the facility during opening hours to enhance the member experience.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Give a cordial welcome to individuals as they step inside the club, acknowledging both existing members and those considering joining.
• Accurately input member information into the system and manage questions about memberships and sign-up processes.
• Assist callers in a pleasant manner by answering their questions and addressing their needs.
• Provide informative tours of the club to showcase distinctive features and benefits to interested prospects.
• Prioritize the cleanliness and organization of the facility as part of the daily routine to establish a tidy and structured setting from the outset:
• Properly disinfecting restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and gym floors to maintain hygiene standards.
• Ensuring that locker room facilities have an ample supply of necessary products and paper items.
• Getting rid of trash and upholding a tidy arrangement for storing cleaning items.
• Dealing with member inquiries and concerns in a timely and polished manner, escalating matters to higher-ups as deemed appropriate.
• Assist in the upkeep of cleanliness and tidiness in the front desk area and lobby space.
• Complete miscellaneous duties assigned by superiors.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Experience in customer assistance is preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Sunniness and positivity in approach.
• Essential traits include being punctual and dependable.
• Remarkable talent in customer service; proficient in engaging with members and coworkers in a positive and professional manner.
• Possessing strong listening skills to connect with others and provide support.
• Implement a diplomatic demeanor in interactions, ensuring that behavior and communication are always appropriate and considerate.
• The minimum educational requirement includes a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• To be considered, one must be of 18 years or older.

Physical Demands:

• Continuous standing and walking needed as part of the job responsibilities.
• Uninterrupted talking in person or over the phone during shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically is necessary.
• One might come across cleaning products from time to time.
