Planet Fitness is hiring for Facilities Custodian

It is the Facilities Custodian's responsibility to uphold cleanliness standards across all facility areas for the benefit of members' overall experience.

Primary job functions and obligations

• Thoroughly sanitize and tidy up restrooms, locker room spaces, gym apparatus, and the fitness floor area.
• Maintain adequate supplies and paper products in stockholding areas.
• Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment (toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club Manager.
• Ensure compliance with the Lost and Found Policy by promptly submitting any lost items belonging to members to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Previous experience in custodial duties is recommended.
• It is crucial to be punctual and trustworthy.
• Being able to work the third shift is a requirement.
• Integrity and a diligent approach to work.
• Capability to resolve issues autonomously.
• Exhibit finesse in all encounters, ensuring proper behavior and language are utilized.
• The completion of either a High School diploma or a GED is mandatory for this position.
• The minimum age requirement for participation is 18 years and above.

Physical Demands

• Continuous standing and walking required during the duration of the shift.
• Ongoing extension of hands, fingers, and arms while on duty.
• There may be instances of climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching as needed while on duty.
• Should be able to lift items exceeding 80 pounds intermittently.
• You might encounter noxious compounds from time to time.
