A key aspect of the Retail Associate Manager role is to ensure the store is clean, well-maintained, and customer-centric. This involves assisting customers, handling transactions at the register, replenishing stock, organizing merchandise, and undertaking any other duties delegated by the Store Manager. Additionally, the Retail Associate Manager steps into a leadership position in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, actively contributing to the store's financial success and ensuring customer needs are met while safeguarding the company's assets.

Duties and Essential Job Functions:

• Deliver top-notch customer service by acknowledging and supporting clients.
• Utilize the cash register and scanner for the purpose of recording and totaling items purchased, receiving payments, giving back change, and packing items.
• Comply with the company's guidelines when it comes to receiving, unpacking, and arranging the stock. Additionally, remember to regularly change the placement of items on the shelves and set up eye-catching displays.
• Keep the store tidy by removing garbage, wiping down surfaces, cleaning floors, and organizing the restrooms and stock areas.
• Support in the establishment and management of planograms.
• Adhere to the Store Manager's instructions when opening and closing the store.
• Execute supplementary tasks that are commonly assigned to the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager when they are not present.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong interpersonal communication and verbal interaction expertise.
• Familiarity with safety policies and procedures.
• Capability to comprehend and execute planograms and instructions for merchandise display.
• Mathematical abilities encompassing addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
• Competence in executing cash register operations proficiently.
• Familiarity with procedures for overseeing cash, facilities, and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with protocols related to dealing with cash, like overseeing cashier duties and maintaining control over deposit procedures.
• Proficiency in driving a vehicle for the purpose of completing essential bank deposit tasks.

Work Experience and Education:

• Preferably, a high school diploma or a similar qualification is desired.
• Having six months of supervisory experience or equivalent training is advantageous.

Working Conditions:

• Engaging in frequent walks, standing, bending, stooping, and kneeling is part of the routine.
• Consistent interaction with merchandise and tools like barcode scanners, price labelers, and utility knives.
• Lifting objects weighing up to 40 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally handling items weighing up to 55 pounds.
• Infrequent use of ladders to a maximum height of six feet.
• Keep the noise at a moderate level within a high-speed atmosphere.
• Periodic interaction with external climate conditions.
• Providing personal transportation services for tasks such as bank drop-offs, meeting attendance, or inter-store travel.
