Front End Supervisor

Position Overview

The Front End Supervisor at Ross Stores plays a critical leadership role, supporting the Store Manager in managing daily store operations, ensuring outstanding customer service, and overseeing the front-end area. This position upholds company policies, promotes a positive shopping experience, and helps drive business results. The Front End Supervisor also assists with training and developing associates to create a strong team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of store operations when Store Manager is unavailable.
• Maintain excellent front-end presentation and efficient customer checkout processes.
• Deliver and maintain exceptional customer service standards.
• Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training store associates.
• Lead by example to drive sales and achieve store profitability goals.
• Implement shortage control programs to minimize loss and maximize accuracy.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and promptly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a retail environment.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.

• Capable of exercising sound judgment and independent decision-making.
• Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the sales floor for extended periods.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Direct supervision of all front-end and customer service associates.
