The Club Supervisor plays a crucial role in steering the club's operations towards providing a top-notch experience for members, enhancing operational effectiveness, and attaining financial objectives. This position involves supervising all facets of club operations, encompassing leadership of employees, customer care, sales results, and maintenance of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Staff Management

• Manage the hiring, development, shift planning, and supervision of club employees, which includes Assistant Managers and Front Desk team members.
• Consistently conduct performance evaluations and deliver continuous mentorship and backing.
• Enforce adherence to corporate policies and establish a culture of professionalism among staff members.

2. Customer Service & Member Experience

• Foster and uphold a friendly and non-judgmental space for all participants.
• Deal with heightened member concerns and find solutions using professionalism and tactfulness.
• Foster an environment that values exemplary service and graciousness.

3. Operations & Compliance

• Monitor the tidiness, security, and maintenance of club premises and equipment.
• Ensure that the day-to-day functions meet the prescribed standards of the Planet Fitness brand and comply with local laws and regulations.
• Follow the necessary procedures to open and close the club as per requirements.

4. Sales & Marketing

• Supervise and enhance the outcomes of membership sales and retention.
• Put local marketing plans into action and oversee the successful execution of promotional campaigns.
• Assess club operational measures and adapt approaches to reach financial objectives.

5. Financial Management

• Supervise club spending and maintain budget discipline to reach profitability objectives.
• Keep tabs on critical indicators like income, payroll expenses, and stock quantities for reporting purposes.
• Secure the correct handling of payroll and financial transactions.

Required Qualifications:

• An educational background of a high school diploma or GED is necessary, with a college degree being the preferred qualification
• A minimum of two years in a managerial role within retail, fitness, or hospitality industries is mandatory
• Demonstrated proficiency in leading others and coordinating activities effectively
• Proficient in articulating thoughts effectively through speech and writing
• Proficiency in basic computer operations including Microsoft Office, POS platforms, and scheduling tools is required
• Adaptability to work non-traditional hours, such as evenings and weekends

Physical Requirements:

• Capacity to stand and move about for an extended period of time
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs on occasion is a necessity
• Frequent phone calls and personal interactions
