The Facility Opener is tasked with ensuring that members have a positive experience by delivering exceptional customer service and keeping the facility clean and organized at the beginning of the day.

Fundamental Duties and Obligations:

• Provide a heartfelt reception to those coming into the club, including both current and potential members, as well as any visitors.
• Carry out correct member check-ins on the system while addressing membership queries and registrations.
• Provide friendly and helpful phone support to address queries and resolve concerns effectively.
• Organize tours of the club to showcase its unique offerings and advantages to potential new members.
• At the start of every day, ensure that the facility is neat and well-maintained through the implementation of cleanliness and organization procedures:
• The complete cleaning and sanitization of restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and gym flooring.
• Stocking locker rooms with the essential supplies and paper items.
• Eliminating waste and ensuring a well-maintained storage system for cleaning supplies.
• Timely and professionally handling member questions and concerns, involving the Assistant Manager or Manager if the situation calls for their expertise.
• Support in maintaining a neat and orderly appearance at the front desk and lobby.
• Execute any other tasks as required by management.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Preferred background in customer relations.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Bright and upbeat mentality.
• It is important to be punctual and reliable.
• Exceptional skills in providing customer service; capable of maintaining positive and professional interactions with coworkers and members.
• Proficient in empathetic communication and offering practical problem-solving strategies.
• Showcase a diplomatic approach in all engagements by demonstrating respectful behavior and using language that is fitting to the situation.
• A high school diploma/GED equivalent is a mandatory qualification.
• The minimum age threshold is set at 18 years and above.

Physical Demands:

• Continual requirement to be on one's feet and moving throughout the workday.
• Continuous conversation in real life or via telephone while at work.
• Required to occasionally hoist weights of up to 50 lbs.
• It is possible to have occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals.
