The success of Planet Fitness relies on the Client Services Associate to provide exemplary customer service and create a positive experience for members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting members, potential members, and visitors with a welcoming demeanor.
• Manage front desk-related activities, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining databases, and organizing files and paperwork:
• Provide a friendly assistance to callers and support them with various concerns.
• Note down the individuals' arrival time.
• New member sign-up.
• Lead tours for individuals considering membership.
• Assist members with making changes to their accounts.
• Keeping members satisfied and happy is essential to any business's success. One way to ensure that members receive exceptional service is by promptly responding to inquiries and concerns. In the event that an issue can not be resolved, reach out to an Assistant Manager or Manager for assistance.
• Work together to maintain the club's neat and presentable condition.

Qualifications/Requirements

• A customer service background is a valuable asset in this position.
• Basic computer proficiency.

• Being punctual and reliable is fundamental to success and productivity.
• Exhibits exceptional proficiency in customer service; capable of interacting in a congenial and proficient manner with customers and colleagues, going beyond the customers expectations.
• A skilled listener who can demonstrate empathy and utilize innovative problem-solving techniques.
• Display a diplomatic demeanor when addressing sensitive issues or navigating potential conflict situations.
• This job opening requires applicants to have either their High School diploma or the equivalent GED education.
• The age limit for this requirement is 18 years or above.
• CPR/AED Certification required.

Physical Demands

• The job mandates unceasing standing and walking during the course of the work shift.
• Relentless conversation either face-to-face or over the phone while on shift.
• It is necessary for individuals to possess the physical aptitude to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds periodically while working in this position.
• It's possible to be exposed to toxic chemicals while on duty.
