As an Area Supervisor at Ross Stores, Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing sales performance. The base salary for this position starts at $65,000, but overall compensation depends on the specific role, location, and experience level.

Operational Responsibilities:
- Monitor store performance by analyzing daily and weekly reports to ensure sales goals are met.
- Collaborate with store management to implement merchandising and operational strategies.
- Ensure that loss prevention policies are effectively enforced to minimize shrink and protect company assets.
- Support new store openings and oversee store layouts to enhance customer experience.
- Work closely with the Store Manager to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in scheduling, staffing, and training to maintain an efficient and effective workforce.
- Identify operational challenges and propose solutions to improve efficiency and profitability.
People & Leadership Responsibilities:
- Coach and develop store associates to enhance their performance and career growth.
- Ensure proper training programs are executed to maintain high levels of employee engagement and effectiveness.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Retail operations or supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management systems.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
